Schindler's List

This statement is exactly why there is no credence given (as it should be) to the court of public opinion:
Schindler said Schiavo was beginning to look like a survivor from a Nazi "concentration camp" and voiced a fear that hospice staff might try to hasten her end by giving her an overdose of morphine.

Yes, let's continue to attempt to gain sympathy for victims by comparing tragedies to one another. In fact, if you ask me, the victims of the Tsunami looked like they were in the World Trade Centre buildings when they were hit as well. 6 million Jews and the countless numbers of soldiers who died for them surely would appreciated their loss being related to the plight of a 41 year-old woman who may or may not have wanted to be allowed to die on her own terms. Brilliant.
