Slow news weekend it seems

One of these things is not like the other. Reuters is certainly pulling out all the stops to get steal readers away from the AP these days.

Indie Yuppy Hackers?

Not sure whether Stereogum being hacked warrants a 'heh' or a 'meh'.

A query for the enlightened masses

In Pacman, when you eat one of those big pellets the ghosts turn blue and you can eat them. But if you get to a big pellet at the same time as a ghost he kills you- what's up with that? To use a baseball metaphor, shouldn't the tie go to the runner?

We're on Vacation, You Can Be My Parasol

I've started the arduous process of uploading vacation pictures online, which can be seen here. Alas I don't have a Pro account so I was very selective in choosing what I put up. Or so I thought. If you want to see a bunch of museums and mountains and palm trees, check out part 2. Part 1 might be up next month, hopefully sooner.

July 2006 Playlist

Traipsing around Europe gives you plenty of opportunity to pick up on a lot of different music. With a Zen Vision M in tow (F the iPod) those scenic train rides all over France, Spain, Switzerland etc. were put to memory with some of the best songs known to man in 2006. Click on the image to get a sampling, the pictures will be up soon.

June 2006 Playlist

Now is the summer of my discontent. Psyche. You've come to expect things late around here, all 4 people who still read this space, but I've tried to demonstrate my ambition by posting June's playlist over five weeks past its sell by date. I went on a little vacation (pictures to follow) so here is the shit hot music from like a month or so ago. There will be a quick turnaround time on July I can assure you.
